With several failures in recent times, Microsoft is now concentrating on little distant future – Vitrual Reality and Hololens. In the recent event Microsoft Build 2017, Microsoft has revealed several of their technological reforms.
In simple words, Microsoft has illustrated the technologies that prove the world is going to be cloud first and mobile first, together, in near future. In the exhibition conducted, Microsoft has presented a demo of HoloLens. The demonstration was a "mix" of HoloLens and Acer's VR experience.
The participants at the demonstration were divided into two halves, where one half handles the HoloLens experience and the other half handles the VR experience. The projection with the HoloLens is and island, which is explored by the participants with the VR headsets. The aim of this game is to reach the center of the island and launch a rocket fitted there.

Though the game seems simple, the participants stated that it more than reality. For gamers, this is going to be the best gaming experience ever. As of now, this just a prototype in terms of idea, a simple combination of HoloLens and VR. But, it seems that Microsoft is going to integrate both these technologies together to produce a breakthrough technology for real-time reality experience also.
Just image two distant friends playing a tennis match on the HoloLens projection, with VR headset on! Distance means nothing in that context. However, this is going to take still more time to be available in the market and some more time to be available at affordable price range.
