Several OTA updates have been done to Android Lollipop. But,
without higher updates to Android 5.1, Google has launched Android 6 –
Marshmallow.
The ripples of Motorola in mobile world in the recent times
need no mention. The second generation mobiles of the first launches – Moto E,
Moto G and Moto X rocked the mobile world. Powered with stock Android, all
these mobiles were set to release OTA updates directly from Google.
In the previous times, several bugs were rectified and the
respective updates were released by Google for Android Lollipop. Restricting
the updates to Android 5.1, Google has launched Android 6 – Marshmallow. But, Google
has decided to skip Lollipop 5.1 to Moto G2.
Moto G2 was originally launched with Android Kitkat, it was
later updated with Lollipop and now finally Marshmallow is going to make your
